Exam: 80 theory + 20 IA. Competency split 50% understanding / 30% application / 20% higher-order. ~33% internal choice. IA: periodic 10, subject-enrichment/practical 5, portfolio 5.
Teaching split at GJMS: Physics teacher → Unit III; Chemistry teacher → Unit II; Biology teacher → Unit I + the new Earth-as-a-System unit. Advanced (optional): pseudo forces, torque, H-line spectrum & Bohr maths, chemical bonding, electron microscopy, biotechnology — 25-mark HOTS paper.
